On Wednesday the 14^th June, Bennett Construction paid a visit to St Mary’s Primary School which is located directly adjacent to our Dorset Street Student Accommodation project.  The purpose of our visit was to explain to the children the dangers associated with a building site.

Colm Sharkey, our Health & Safety Manager, spoke to first and second class and explained the dangers of a building site, the need for special training and the need for special safety clothes.  The children then had a chance to try on all of the protective clothing for themselves and had great fun doing so!

We enjoyed our visit to St Mary’s school, and we hope to have similar talks with other schools in the future.
