What attracted you to Bennett?
Simply due to the variety of project types that they undertook within the construction sector. My first project was the construction of a new concert hall/venue in Dublin City University. I also wanted to connect with a company that still retained 'family values' and traditions
Tell us more about your career with Bennett.
I started as senior setting out engineer and progressed to site manager and then settled with the role of project manager/ contracts manager and worked mainly in the Dublin area. Following the downturn in construction due the Celtic Tiger collapse I went to London and became part of the UK Bennett division team. During my time with Bennett, I've worked in the residential, hotel, distribution warehousing and manufacturing industry projects as well and a concert hall and sports stadia.
What do you like about working with Bennett?
Whilst there are proven management structures in place, the project manager's role within Bennetts brings a good degree of autonomy, allowing yourself to mature professionally; however there is a full support network of highly qualified professionals and industry leading individuals to gain advice from when required from Head Office both in Ireland and UK.
