Bennett Construction were the design and build contractor on Zanzibar Locke Apart Hotel which was formerly the Zanzibar bar and nightclub along Ormond Quay in Dublin.
The development site was situated at 34 -37 Ormond Quay Lower, Dublin 1 overlooking the River Liffey.
The project involved the construction of a turnkey hotel for SACO comprising of a striking new foyer, 160 studio apartments over seven floors and the provision of a new bar and eatery.
Each of the studio apartments are equipped with fully fitted kitchens and living space.
The project saw the refurbishment of the protected façade and the Georgian building has been sensitively restored and developed.
