This student accommodation scheme was constructed on a brown field site in Dublin’s North Inner City. 

The 0.76ha site, which opened onto Brunswick Street and Grangegorman Lower, Dublin 7, previously contained a number of semi derelict dwellings and a number of vacant warehouses, all of which have been demolished to make way for the development.

The development had a total area of 21000m2 and comprised of 571 bed spaces with a discount food store (2860m2), off licence, separate retail units (circa 630m2), student community group recreational facility, student gym, ancillary accommodation and all associated site works.  The student/ community group recreational area will be arranged over two floors with mezzanine.

Upper floors (1st to 5th) comprised of 126no. units of student accommodation – 5no. x three bed units, 29no. x 4 bed units, 29no. x 5 bed units, 14no. x 6 bed units, 13no. x 7 bed units, 12 no. 8 bed units, and 24 no. studio units. Total 571 no. bed spaces.
