Bennett were appointed by Westmeath County Council to design and build their New Civic Headquarters in a town centre site in Mullingar.
The solution arrived at by the Bennett team sets exemplars of best practice in terms of sustainability and modern design. This design approach coupled with a fastidious attention to detail by the project team lead to a world class building for the client.
The site straddles protected structures and these were incorporated into the design solution.
This building won the prestigious OPUS 2009, Architecture and Construction Award, over €20million category
