Battersea Exchange, London
The project comprised of 7 blocks of apartments ranging in height from 3 storeys to 16 storeys. There was a total of 78 apartments in this development together with the redevelopment of 22 rail arches that were transformed in to commercial units.
The development is located between Battersea Park and Queenstown Road stations with the rail lines running directly through the site. A major part of the works included the refurbishment of the rail arches to make them ready for retail fit out by future tenants.
The area is well served with public transport with rail and bus facilities in the immediate vicinity. The site was extremely confined, with challenging logistics and technical issues that were overcome in order to successfully deliver the project.
